Me

I’m Beth Chenoweth and Restless Creatures is the home for my metalwork and jewelry. When I’m not at my studio creating my designs, I work with and care for hawks, owls, and falcons doing conservation education. My Work

I am inspired by the ancient art of creating and adorning oneself or one’s home with tokens and talismans as a way to harness protection, prosperity and good health. I prefer the age old, time consuming way of hand tooling metal and fabricating jewelry by using a limited set of hand tools. My work is based on myth, magic, folklore and the elements of wild nature.

My hand tooled pieced are made entirely by hand by me from copper or aluminum and strung on silk thread. My designs are my own drawings or based on vintage illustrations and embroidery patterns. Copper patinas beautifully as it ages and is excellent for outdoor use.
